My name is Lauren and Pet Grooming is my passion. I have worked in the grooming industry since I was in High School. It has always been a dream of mine to own a salon and I am so excited to welcome you into our HomeTown Hounds family!

My Mission is to provide your pet with the most enjoyable experience possible. Their comfort is my number one priority. Together you and I can ensure that each visit is a pleasant one.

I have spent the past five and a half years working in a wonderful vet clinic, building great client relationships and learning so much along the way. Grooming is not all about your pets style, there is so much more to it! My aim is to utilize the best products to nurture their skin and coat, soothe any underlying skin issues and leave them looking and feeling their very best.

Policies

Vaccination Requirements

Please bring a copy of your vaccine records to your first appointment. I ask that all vaccinations have been updated at least 7 days prior to your appointment.

Pets over the age of 16 weeks must have Current rabies, parvo booster, and bordatella vaccine.

Vaccination Policy for Puppies

I believe it is very important to acclimate a puppy to grooming at a young age. Grooming is something they will have to experience for the rest of their lives. In order to start them early I will allow a puppy who hasn't completed all booster to be groomed.

I schedule them as the first appointment of the day before any other dogs have entered the building. Puppies must be over 8 weeks of age and have visited vet for first boosters.

Aggressive or Fearful Pet Policy

Does your pet have some baggage when it comes to grooming? Maybe they get scared or upset and nip?

That is ok. I only ask that you are honest with me so I know what to expect and can make the proper arrangments so we set your pet up for success!

If your pet needs a vet prescribed sedative I am experienced with grooming these types of dogs as well.

Please inform me of any important behavioral quirks your pet may have. Safety for myself and your pet is very important.

If I am unable to finish a groom because your pets behavior poses a risk to myself or to themselves there will be a minimum of $25 fee. If your pet recieves a bath but I am not able to finish a haircut, you will be charged only the bath fee.
